The Therapeutic Approach Yoga Studio, lovingly known as TAYS, was born out of a passion for bringing yoga, safely, to every body. Our teachers are some of the most experienced in the region, leading almost 40 classes a week, in every style, at every pace; classes that are inspiring, rejuvenating, and accessible to all abilities. You are welcome to start yoga anytime. We can't wait to meet you!

In addition to offering individual classes and class packages to purchase, we've also created simple yoga packages that include class passes and props that you can use to get started or give as gifts to your friends and family. Our yoga packages are available at various prices depending on your needs and your budget.

At TAYS we are dedicated to the ongoing professional and personal development of yoga teachers through in-depth yoga education involving eastern and western perspectives as well as practical theory and teaching methodology. Our highly-regarded 200 hour and 500 hour programs are designed to certify students who are interested in teaching a Hatha Vinyasa style of yoga. Both our 200 and 500 hour YTT programs are registered with Yoga Alliance and meet and exceed their requirements.
TAYS' YTT 200 HourMost yoga studios require teachers to have a basic 200 hour training from a registered yoga school. When you graduate from TAYS' 200 hour YTT, you will have the skills required to develop, structure and teach yoga classes.

TAYS' YTT 500 HourThe TAYS 500 hour program consists of two parts, the first being the 200 hour foundation program plus an additional 300 hours. The 300 hours can be achieved through attending our "weekend programs" based in Halifax.
